IDOS_ARTS Centre aims to:
➢ create coordination and network between the research groups at the national and international levels to develop mutually beneficial collaborations;
➢ create a community platform to archive, share and enhance research products and projects in progress;
➢ create network connections between Italian and foreign institutions for research collaboration activities;
➢ plan and coordinate shared projects through different professional skills and from different methodological and disciplinary perspectives;
➢ improve cooperation and integration between hard and soft science experts;
➢ enhance and share the study, research methodologies, and design systems to create ontologies for knowledge bases, document ecosystems, web platforms, digital archives, museums and virtual exhibitions, based on best practices of Linked Open Data;
➢ explore innovative methodologies for the application and development of artificial intelligence to art, entertainment and exhibitions, above all, concerning the reception and use by the public;
➢ involve the stakeholders who own cultural, public and private assets in order to share in Open Access the metadata of the digital archives relating to their collections and to participate in the research and planning activities of the IDOS_ARTS Centre.
